How far in advance should I book?

One to two weeks is ideal, especially for month-end and summer dates. That said, we've booked people in 48 hours more than once. We answer the phone 24 hours a day, so it's always worth asking.

Are you licensed and insured?

Question 4

Do you move pianos, safes and hot tubs?

We do. We run ramp systems, stair rigs, gate lifts and four-person crews for oversized items. Pianos are one of our specialties — send a photo and we'll tell you exactly what it takes.

Can you pack for us?

Accepted Answer

Full pack, partial pack or just the kitchen and fragiles — your call. We bring the boxes, paper, wrap and tape, label everything by room, and can unpack and haul away the debris on the other end.

Do you load rental trucks, PODS and containers?

Constantly. If you've got a U-Haul, trailer, PODS or a container, you can hire just the labor. We load tight and strapped so nothing shifts in transit.

What should I do before the crew arrives?

Clear a path to the door, set aside anything you don't want on the truck, and label two boxes 'open first'. If you're packing yourself, tape the bottoms twice and keep boxes under 50 lbs. That's it — we handle the rest.

Do you take apart beds, tables and appliances?

Basic disassembly and reassembly is included: bed frames, table legs, mirror-to-dresser hardware. Gas appliances and hard-plumbed items need a licensed tech to disconnect first, and we'll tell you that before move day, not on it.

What can't go on the truck?

Propane, gasoline, paint, aerosols, ammunition and anything else flammable or corrosive. Also plants on long-distance moves — they don't survive a trailer. We'll help you plan around all of it.

How do you protect floors and doorways?

Runners on hardwood and carpet, padding on doorjambs and stair rails, blankets and shrink wrap on furniture. We'd rather spend ten minutes protecting the house than an afternoon apologizing for it.

Can you store our things between closings?

Yes. Storage-in-transit at our Henry Court yard covers the gap when your sale closes before your purchase does. We can also load your PODS or a facility unit and pick it back up when you're ready.

Do you do junk removal and donation runs?

We do. Most estate and downsizing jobs end with a dump run and a donation drop, and we can coordinate cleaners so the house is turnkey for the new owners.

How do we pay, and when?

Are you really open 24 hours?

Yes, and it's not a voicemail box. Joe has answered the phone at 2am more than once. Late move-outs, night commercial jobs and 48-hour emergency bookings are normal for us.
